Upload Robot to Management Console

Publish your robot and the types it uses to the Management Console.

Properties for Local Management Console

When publishing to a Local Management Console, the default values will match how the local Management Console is configured in Settings.

NOTE: If there is more than one project in the Management Console, when pressing the "Upload" button, it will be possible to select which project to upload to.

Protocol:
HTTP, or HTTPS.
Hostname:
The host name or IP of the Management Console, always localhost.
Port Number:
Port the embedded web server is listening on, typically 50080 for local HTTP, 50443 for local HTTPS.
Path:
The context path on which the Management Console is deployed, always /
User Name:
The user admin name required to access the Management Console, if 'use Admin password' is enabled in settings.
Password:
The admin user's password, if 'use Admin password' is enabled in settings.
Include Path in Robot Name:
When uploading a robot located inside a sub-folder of the project library, should the sub-folder be part of the robot name? E.g. if uploading ...library\SearchRobots\google.robot should it be uploaded as SearchRobots/google.robot or just google.robot?
Note that \ will be converted to / when uploading to the Management Console.
This options is available for backwards compatibility only. If you choose to include the path as part of the robot name you will have to rename the robot every time you download it from the Management Console. Furthermore you will not be able to upload a new version of the robot using a browser (since the browser doesn't report the path of the robot).

Properties for Remote Management Console

These are the properties for uploading to Remote Management Console. You should contact the administrator to acquire the properties needed to connect.

Protocol:
HTTP, or HTTPS.
Hostname:
The host name or IP of the server running the Management Console
Port Number:
Port the Management Console web server is listening on, typically 80 for local HTTP, 443 for local HTTPS.
Path:
The context path on which the Management Console is deployed, typically /ManagementConsole
User Name:
The username required to access the application, if any.
Password:
The password required to access the application, if any.
Include Path in Robot Name:
When uploading a robot located inside a sub-folder of the project library, should the sub-folder be part of the robot name? E.g. if uploading ...library\SearchRobots\google.robot should it be uploaded as SearchRobots/google.robot or just google.robot?
